Underground waterproofing

Execution of waterproofing of the underground part of the structure fully in accordance with the material manufacturer’s instructions and professional standards:

  • waterproofing of pile heads with epoxy mortar Sikadur 42 SP, applied on previously cast pile tops with SikaGrout 314 RS

  • waterproofing of the reinforced concrete foundation slab and underground reinforced concrete walls with synthetic FPO membrane SikaProof A+12 (fully bonded system)

  • construction joints in the foundation slab additionally secured with PVC waterstops Sika Waterbar AF-24

  • joints between the foundation slab and underground walls additionally secured with swelling sealant Sikaswell S-2 and swelling profile Sikaswell A 2010

  1. Execution of waterproofing of the plateau (garage roof) using the following system:

    • mechanical grinding of the substrate with diamond tools

    • creation of fillets with repair mortar Sika MonoTop 412 N

    • application of two coats of epoxy-based primer Sikadur 188 with quartz broadcasting in the second coat

    • spray application of polyurethane coating Sikalastic 851 (thickness 2 mm) using the hot method

Preparation, grinding of the substrate with diamond tools to achieve a smooth surface free of loose concrete parts

After 24 hours, the hybrid polyurea changes its color; pedestrian traffic on the waterproofing at the construction site can proceed normally without fear of damage
